The Hampshire Road Running League (HRRL) is an annual running series for clubs based in and close to Hampshire.
Participating clubs run up to 12 specially chosen races per year, which all vary in distances and sizes, from 5 miles, all the way up to a Half Marathon.
The races are all well organised and are a great entry in to the world of competitive running. Results are calculated based on the top 4 runners for each team, whereby males and females are scored in separate leagues.
MVR are the newest club to join the HRRL. We are currently placed 12th in the C league for the men’s A division of the HRRL race season for 2018 – 2019. We plan on having a strong presence in the 2019 – 2020 race season.
Many of the HRRL races are the perfect races to either score a new PB or are races that are just simply fun to run. Regardless of the reason for running a HRRL race, every runner that takes part under the MVR name, is gratefully appreciated!
Running in any HRRL race for the MVR club, requires any entrant to be wearing there clubs latest kit colours. If you need to purchase a club vest, they can be purchased here.
In order to represent the HRRL, each club must nominate a captain, for each team. The 2018 – 2019 HRRL captains are;
